Privacy Policy

Last updated November 7, 2026

The short version: what you copy stays on your Mac. ClipMind has no account, no analytics and no crash reporting. The app connects to the internet for three things only, listed below, and none of them includes your clips.

This policy covers the ClipMind app for macOS and this website. ClipMind is made by Kamal Hosen (“we”).

Your clips

ClipMind saves text, links, images, files and colors you copy, the name of the app you copied them from, and when. Text recognition and search indexing run on your Mac with a local AI model. Everything is stored in ClipMind’s folder on your Mac. We never receive it, and there is no server it could be sent to.

ClipMind asks for macOS Accessibility permission so it can paste into the app you were using. It uses that permission only to send the paste keystroke.

Purchases

Polar is our merchant of record. When you buy ClipMind, Polar collects your name, email address, billing country and payment details, and sends you your license key. We can see your order details in Polar to provide support and refunds. We never see your full card number. See Polar’s privacy policy.

This website

This site uses no cookies and no analytics. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes visitors’ IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. If you email us, we use your address only to reply.

Sharing

We don’t sell or share personal information. The only third parties involved are the ones named above.

Your rights

Your clips are on your Mac and under your control. For purchase or support data we hold, you can ask us to show, correct or delete it by emailing support@clipmind.app.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date above. If the app ever starts sending new data, the policy will say so first.
